A&A Lifecycle Phases

Categorize the system per FIPS 199, select security controls from NIST SP 800-53, and document in the SSP.

Execute security control assessments, generate test results, and produce comprehensive Security Assessment Reports (SAR).

Authorize

Submit the complete authorization package and support the Authorizing Official through final ATO decision.
